Thank You, First Responders & Medical Personnel!

Whenever I got a call that included the words “universal precaution” I would cringe as I’m sure most of us (1st responders) do. Even a “man with a gun” call doesn’t present the “ah shit” factor as much as a call involving a potentially life threatening disease.

As businesses around the world shut down and people go home to help prevent the spread of the CoronaVirus, our 1st responders and medical personnel are hard at it because they don’t get that option. In fact, they are now dealing with even more job stress!

I’ll keep this post short but I think it’s important to recognize all the professionals who continue to work regardless of the risks and challenges the CoronaVirus presents. I personally want to thank you for hanging in there and doing what you do! May God watch over you and protect you during this battle!

I’m guessing your agency has provided some literature about how to deal with the CoronaVirus. But if they haven’t, I’ve included some links (below) from the CDC website for LE and EMS guidance when dealing with it. Also, don’t forget to decompress from all this when you get the chance. Protecting your health includes your mental health!
